Stairwell Closet Water Intrusion

This flooded stairwell closet in Frisco, TX was the result of a Water Heater leak located in the Garage, located next to the affected wall. The Water Heater was installed on a two foot high platform in the Garage Closet. The extent of water damage affected the exterior insulated wall and flooring. SERVPRO South Frisco/The Colony had to extract the standing water in the flooring, removed the affected padding and cut out the saturated drywall and insulation. The placement of our new drying equipment and removal of the affected drywall and insulation allowed us to dry the wood framing studs and base plate, in record time.
